Hasan Unutan, a Grup Yorum volunteer and friend of revolutionaries, was detained in a raid on his house in Manheim at 06.00 today morning. We got information about the raid by interviewing Hasan Unutan's wife. Hasan Unutan's wife explained what happened and said the following; "At 06.00 in the morning, the door of our house was knocked on to be broken. When we opened the door, we were attacked by the police. Suddenly they came in and started searching. After the search, they showed us a search warrant. They handcuffed us behind our backs in front of my children. I reacted to this situation and shouted in their faces that my husband was neither a murderer, thief nor a rapist, and I told them that it was not right to do this to their father in front of my children. They took away the computers, phones and tablets in our house and took my husband away in handcuffs. At the same time, they took the keys to my husband's workplace and the keys to the association called El Ele, which operates in our region. We learned that the police also went to my husband's workplace and took his work computer. My husband is innocent and has always stood up against injustice. I demand his immediate release."
The Committee Against Injustices called on all our people to demand the immediate release of Grup Yorum Volunteer Hasan Unutan, a friend of revolutionaries, and emphasized that being a revolutionary is not a crime. Today at 11.00 a.m. Olg Stuttgart
They announced a press statement in front of the Stuttgart Court building at Olgastraße 2, 70182 Stuttgart.
Instead of dealing with revolutionaries from Turkey, the German state could be more interested in stopping the terror of xenophobes and neo-Nazi remnants in its own country. Or, instead of supporting the neo-Nazis in Ukraine, it could review the terror it is practicing in its own country and stop terrorizing revolutionaries by applying Article 129/B of the Anti-Terrorism Law!
The family of Hasan Unutan, father of three, demands his immediate release!
