An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 occurred in Defne district of Hatay
According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at 20.04 in Hatay's Defne district.
The 6.4 magnitude earthquake, which was also felt in the surrounding provinces, was reported to have occurred at a depth of 16.7 kilometres.
After this earthquake, an aftershock with a magnitude of 5.8 occurred in Hatay's Samandağ district at 20.07. The tremor occurred at a depth of 7 kilometres.
While 3 people died in the earthquake, 213 people were transferred to hospitals.
